10th European Individual Women's Chess Championship result.

The 10th European Individual Chess Championship Result

Alexander Grischuk win XXVI SuperGM, Linares.




Alexander Grischuk win this tournament due to better tie break than Ivanchuk. The 1st tie-break was the head-to-head score, but equal because both games between them were drawn, the second tie-break of most wins and has better tie break than Ivanchuk (Grischuk (he won 3 compared to Ivanchuk's 2).Alexander Grischuk join this tournament as a reserve to fill Veselin Topalov place when his delayed match with Gata Kamsky clashed with Linares.

Topalov vs Kamsky



1st battle between Vaselin Topalov and Gata Kamsky in FIDE Candidates Qualifier for the World Championship ended with a drawn. This battle start with Topalov as white and Kamsky in the black corner.With Grundfeld Defend, maybe a good start for Kamsky. All 36 moved and the game look like a draw with black Queen checking around. Also for this tournament , both player has choose their side kick (2nd) as below:

The Kamsky-Topalov FIDE World Championship Qualifier is taking place from February 16th to 28th in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Match consists of eight games and if necessary tie-breaks. It has a prize find of US $250,000 which will be shared equally by the players. The winner qualifies for a World Championship Match against Viswanathan Anand, scheduled for later this year.- Chessbase.

The young Azerbaijani ,Teymur Rajabov won Elista FIDE Grand Prix.In final round he draw with Russian Aleksandr Grishuk. Aleksandr Grishuk and Russian Dmitri Yakovenko who finish the same score with Rajabov (8 points) finish 2nd and 3rd.
