GM Laylo Darwin from Phillipines is the champion of zone 3.3 Chess Championship 2009 at Vietnam.Scored 8 point with 7 games win and other 2 games draw. Follow by GM Wesley So - 6.5 point and GM Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son -6 points. IM Mas Hafizulhelmi also with 6 point and finish at 6th place. Good game by IM Mas, never lose his game and beat 1 GM (GM Bui Vinh ) and draw with 2 GM (GM Torre and GM Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son). I think Mas don'T get GM norm due to his rating performance only 2493 and not passing 2600. Congratulation to Mas.
